FAQs
Do you offer sliding scale rates?
Yes. I offer a sliding scale ranging from $150 to $90 for individual sessions, depending on client ability to pay. For couples and families, I offer a sliding scale from $250 to $170 (for 90-minute sessions). You may discuss sliding scale at the initial consultation.
How long is each therapy session?
I offer an introductory initial meeting of 15 minutes free of charge to determine if we are a good fit. Subsequent sessions for individuals last for 50 minutes, and sessions for couples last 90 minutes. Longer sessions may be arranged at client's request.
Are mindfulness and yoga therapy always included in therapy sessions?
Not necessarily. It is client-driven according to what each client experiences as helpful for the therapy process. Clients have frequently found that contemplative practices facilitate change and promote well-being.
Where is your office?
My office is located on the first floor in the History Ashland Armory, suite 106M, 208 Oak Street, Ashland, OR. Currently, I am seeing clients in person or via Telehealth. Depending on vaccination and/or COVID-19 levels, masks may be required.
Do you take insurance?
Currently, I can take clients who have Regence Blue Cross/Blue Shield, Moda, and Jackson Care Connect. I can also generate superbills so that clients can be reimbursed by other insurance companies.
How long will I need to be in therapy?
It depends on what your goals for therapy are, what kinds of challenges you are facing, and your level of motivation for change. Sometimes, clients can meet specific short-term goals in a few months. Other times, a longer period of one to two years maybe needed for deeper exploration. These can be discussed in the first or second sessions, in which goals and expectations are outlined.
